Pigman's Creator

For the record......

The Infidel is a story about twin brothers whose relationship goes to hell when Jihad hits America on 9/11.
It forces them to come to terms with their Muslim background, now in the forefront of their lives.
One responds to 9/11 by creating Pigman, a counter-jihad superhero comic book and the other vows to follow Islam to wherever it leads.

BRILLIANT! This is fantastic, Bosch. It really IS happening, isn't it? After all the planning you've done, it's really a great thing to see you diving into the project head-on. I'm truly excited for you, my friend. Wow!

Ha, it Really is after all, isn't? A long time in the making and it's coming into clearer form than ever before. You know about all the fits and starts with it, the toughest thing I've ever worked on and the most gratifying as well.

Hi Bosch, Great stuff as always. Can you share any significance or history behind the names chosen for the characters?

Keep it up!

Fellow Infidel,
I'll just say that the brother's are of Albanian/Muslim descent and Salaam [Peace, in Arabic] maintains his birth name, while Killian chooses his own.
Thanks, and I won't be posting as regularly as I like, but like yesterday, there may be a few in one shot.

Hi Bosch:

This is getting interesting - twin brothers who each choose a different path after the "Twin Towers" fall, the double-headed Albanian eagle ... I'll bet Harvey "Two-Face" Dent will be a fan of the book! Can't wait to buy it :)

Darius LaMonica,

Dualism runs through the story in more ways than are obvious at first. Thanks, and good catch.

If you haven't, check out Bill Warner's brilliant take on Islam as Dualism. A google search should get you to an interview he did with Front Page Magazine and to articles he's written for New English Review. A unique insight into Islam and its Jihad.
