So thats what he looks like with out his costume!
Check out the earlier images of Frank in two older posts.
Damn, another post of mine deleted at Jihad Watch. For a website that goes hard against Jihad, they're getting strangely sensitive. My deleted response was regarding this story: 'Obesity more dangerous than Terrorism', which had a picture of two fat jihadists, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Adam Gadhan. My deleted response: 'Fatwas from Fat Twats. In case this gets deleted, one meaning of twat is: a man who is a stupid incompetent fool.'
Such a cool image, Bosch. I love the contrast between the neutral colors and the bright red "X". (For some reason the theme music to the Bourne trilogy popped into my head when I saw this.)
Sorry your post got deleted. Funny play on words, though.
That gets me too, Bosch; having to walk on eggshells with the folks at JW. I guess it's an indelicate connotation to twat.
Thanks, Mike, it's a good throwaway pun, but I must say I never use the term, and didn't know how 'offensive' some take it, live and learn, esp. after some from LGF made it a point to let me know how 'puerile, offensive and juvenile' it was. It is what it is, if people are genuinely bugged by it, then they're bugged by it. Gotta leave it at that. I only add that it was aimed at the Scum of the Earth jihadists, misogynists who are literally dying for 'women'. John,I know there's a hard guy beneath Robert Spencer's mild manner and part of why he maintains such great composure could be because of just that. You don't go with full throttle truth against a world of cutthroats without having that within you. He has his style of expression and I've got mine, we're on the same side in the end.
Part of what I just posted on JW in response to an offended poster who backed up the deletion:'The last thing I want to do is alienate people who are all on the same side, but we really have to see things, ourselves and the times we are living in, in full context before we scream 'I'm offended!' Fighting Words are part of this war, and once a good number of us start belting out the full truth about Islam and its Jihad, along with 'recklessly' insulting those who are murdering us, is the day we start winning.I was just listening to an audio version of the book 'House to House', and particularly liked the forceful profanity that was aimed at the enemy with absolute derision by our soldiers.
I with you, Bosch -- to thine own self be true. An occasional groaner or dud is the price of originality and sparkling wit. I still appreciate a good camel metaphor. Now, if only I can come up with some fatwa-worthy al-Buraq & The Prophet jokes ... John C
John,It's to be expected, even from allies, that we will not agree on everything, and we need not to, but this overconcern with offending others, even jihadist scum, is just too much for me.By the way, the spelling of Mohammed as the perfect model:al-insan al-kamilSometimes, it's too easy. With a slight tweak of letters......
Twerp, twirp [alter], and twit pass muster for signifying "foolish, contemptible person," Bosch, as in Fatwas from Fat Twits.Saddle-up al-Barack and take a Night Journey to The Farthest Mock.
...al-insan al-kamil, hmm--I never caught the al-kamil part before! The perfect camel joke, as long as you leave out the "hump" part!! [double entendre]
First off,I read the Jihad Watch article: Obesity more dagerous than Terrorism". I did not understand why your response was deleted. I personally don't see how your play on words could have offended anyone, unless they chose to be offended. Sorry. At least you can be yourself on your own blog.Lastly, another great image. Powerful, the archetypal hero under his "secret identity".
Thanks, Godfrey, I think we're going to hear 'unspeakable' things coming out of our mouths as the norm after the rat bastards remind enough of us that we're still at war. This hypersensitivity we have to our Own words is sometimes too much for me. Same with our fear that what WE Might do in response to what terrorists Actually do is cause for Graaaaaave concern. Look at how we Americans responded to 9/11, and then how Muslims respond to the tiniest slight against Islam to put things in perspective. If we responded to 9/11 like Muslims would have if they were us.........
I don't feel so bad now about my brief comment at JW being deleted. It appears I'm in good company. My comment was in regard to the Minaret in St. Louis. I just said I was surprised St. Louis was allowing something so ugly to be so tall. Then, I added, isn't St. Louis in tornado alley, and we could hope it takes a direct hit. (I was in no way hoping for injury to any people!)
anonymous,That's just a natural take on the matter, surprised it was deleted. We have no room for a religion that doesn't want to merely 'settle' for being a part of this country, but instead wants this country to be part of it, by hook or by crook. We can always count on Muslims, acting in accordance with Islam, to keep us on track when we may tire of it all.
