And a hat tip to Godfrey of Utah for this great quote from a Great man:
'A cat looks down upon a man, and a dog looks up to a man, but a pig will look a man in the eye and see his equal.'-Winston Churchill
Bosch,Thanks for the interesting read. It just shows how oversensitive Muslim Fundamentalists are when it comes to the wrong things. And speaking of Pigs, check out this link.pigazetteIts for a site called "The Politically Incorrect Gazette." It is also known as Pig for short. By the way, in addition to bashing the socialist left and the religious right, they've called Muslims names like "Jihadikaze, Islamikaze, and Mecca Manics"You'd probably like their American Jihad!American_JihadIts funny, politically incorrect and anti-Islam. Maybe you could add the Pigazette to your list of links! I wonder how long before Mecca Manics try to ban them.
Speaking of standing up to our enemies, look at how we might be able to fight Jihad in the near future.Video:_ Are_you_ready_for_jihadi-busting_ bugbots?
Bosch,Think those bug bots might bug them as much as pork?
Excellent work, and excellent article Bosh. It reminds me of the cartoon by Cox and Forkum of British soldiers about to execute by firing squad, Piglet, from Disney's Whinney the Pooh, all in the name of Muslim sensibilities. I think the cartoon was called "Perils Before a Swine" I also remember what Winston Churchill said when he explained why he was "fond of pigs". "Dogs look up to us, Cats look down on us, Pigs treat us as equals." Maybe that is why Muslims hate and fear them so much. Well they can have my Toy Story "Ham" Piggybank, when they pry it from my cold dead hands.
I can't seem to find the original link to the story you cited.
Damien,Thanks for the link to Pigazette, I just sent out an email to them to connect, as I do whenever I see likeminded sites. And you read my mind, I just placed it on my link list. The video of the Jihad Busting Bots kept freezing, hope to get a better look later.
Godfrey,Thanks. Here's the Cox & Forkum cartoon you mention, with Piglet:Perils Before SwineAnd here's the other full throttle Pig attack by Cox & Forkum:ToonophobiaAnd thanks for that great, relevant Winston Churchill quote, I placed it under this post, with credit to you.
anonymous,The link works fine, just click the first word of the text, 'Here's' to follow through to Janet Levy's Front Page Magazine piece, 'Outlawing the Pig'.
Bosch, Thank you, I do appreciate it. By the way, when you decided to watch the "Jihad Busting Bug Bots" video, I linked to, did you let it finish loading before you started watching it? Sometimes that helps with freezing problems. It could just be that my modem is faster than yours, because I didn't have any problems with it. If it keeps freezing, maybe you could find a place to download it and view it off line. Other than that, I don't know what to suggests, besides getting a faster internet connection.
Damien,Just saw it, my computer's up to speed, it was the site that was off earlier. Would love to see flying pig versions of the spiders.
Bosch,I can't believe I forgot to ask. I know you loved the Pigazette, but what did you think of their "American Jihad?" Did you see it?
Unbelievable story. Crazy. Unbelievable* art, Bosch. * As in wicked cool.
Damien,I will get around to it when I can.Mike, Thanks. The more we submit, even an inch for something as seemingly unimportant as this, the more Islamic the world becomes, and so the less peaceful the world becomes. This is just another reminder strengthening my original decision to go with a pig motif for a post 9/11 hero. Give them exactly what they don't want is the idea. The minute the enemy's happy with something we've done, we've betrayed ourselves, as with some Muslim groups liking the new Wash. P.C. guidelines banning the words Jihad or Jihadists. As I had the customer say in Table for One: 'What good are we if we're not pissin' off the scum of the earth.'
Bosch,"The more we submit, even an inch for something as seemingly unimportant as this, the more Islamic the world becomes, and so the less peaceful the world becomes."That is definitely true, but its worse than that, the more freedom we give up to these nutjobs the harder it will be not to give up more the next time they demand it. Have you ever heard one of old cliched, "slippery slope" arguments? We could make one here.
A pig is a pig is a pig,dirty,nasty,just gross.Not a superhero not a man.
Hey bosch,do you really belive a pig is your equal?
A pig has only one place,on the dinner plate.
Anonymous, you said, "A pig has only one place,on the dinner plate"Well at least we know your not a jihadist or dhimmi.
Those weenies can suck on my big bratwurst. What, the Jihadists can't take a good ribbing? Why are they trying to force everybody into Islam? Could it be because they want to hog the religion racket to themselves? Not to worry: The main reason I refuse to invest in Shariah-friendly stocks is because my money is already tied up in pork bellies.Eat a ham for Jesus!:)
Robert Jones,Rock on!
Robert,The idea that the enemy wants to Hog it all up literally crossed my mind as well yesterday, ha.
Thanks Bosch. And a qualified thanks to "damien," so long as he's not the evil little boy with the 666 embossed on his scalp, who let Gregory Peck fall to his death.Otherwise, thanks.(I bet you get the Damien: The Omen stuff a lot. Can't resist it though). :)
No im not a jihadist, but ill give you that a pig is a few levels above one.
Just for S&Gs, Christopher Walken reads "The Three Little Pigs," in a traditional vein.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vNk4K3YaIc&feature=related
Pigman overshadows the lineThe cloud of the West is starting to eclipse Islam. (The crescent & star).Do I detect a mushroom cloud in the face of Pigman? One could not think of a better accompaniment to pork, bacon especially.Very clever :)
Rebel Radius,That's right, Pigman can't be fully crossed, no matter what they or us pull. Porcine Mushroom cloud, ha. Not my intention at all, but I will definitely keep that in mind for a future image, with attribution to you, thanks, it would actually fit perfectly. I did make a doodle a while back with Pigman's snout as a mushroom cloud, but scrapped it after I couldn't get it together with an accompanying line, etc.
