Bosch,Nice work on his face. He looks like he could be a real person. Is Frank Warner based on someone you know? A lot of writers base their characters on people they know.
Thanks, Damien, as for basing Frank Warner on someone I know, not quite, but the first person I had in mind to use for a model for him was 'The Man Who Warned America', the great FBI agent, John O'Neill, who was hunting Osama Bin Laden years before anyone knew who he was. Incredibly, he actually died in the Twin Towers on 9/11 shortly after he became the head of security for it . He was safely out of the building after the first hit, but went back in to help.
Bosch,He does look kind of like him. I have heard of him before, but I never got around to reading that book. I don't know much about John O'Neill, but from what I do, I would agree with you, he was a hero. Sad irony, how he died. Well maybe he at least managed to save the lives of a couple innocent people before the towers fell, so his death was not in vain.Just out of curiosity, what do you think we should do with Osama in the odd chance we manage to capture him alive? As far as I'm concerned 9/11 was both a crime and an act of war. If we get him, I think we should treat him as the war criminal he is, and hang him!
As with his entire kind, obliteration is the answer.
Bosch,Can't argue with killing him.
That looks great, interesting story about that FBI guy.
Wow! Good to see Frank Warner again. Bosch, you continue to inspire, my friend.
Thanks, Mike. And Hugo, John O'Neills story is pretty incredible, thanks.
Not only O'Neil, but Rick Rescorla (if I got his name right) predicted that the Twin Towers would be attacked. He helped many people get out before the horrible collapses. He perished along with O'Neil, and almost 3,000 of our brothers and sisters. You have a gift of inspiring others Bosch, don't ever stop.
Wow! You have the heart of a Lion! You probably know that you are making yourself a target for some loony, puny Muslim terrorist. I just happen to be a fundamentalist, biblical Christian, so I am in a 'minority' too.. lol. Warm Regards,Tom Stschuckman@aol.comDisabled Vietnam Veteran: 68-70.
Thanks, Tom, especially coming from someone who's laid it on the line. Best,Bosch
Ha Ha, you're still nuts. See you this weekend.
Bosch,Just wanted to let you know that we have admired your work for some time now. Please know also that you are indeed an inspiration to others. I can't go into detail, but please know that you work is not just a cartoons. You are just as much on the frontline of this global war as the troops we support. Please keep up the good work. God bless.
All I can say to that is thank you, that means a whole lot to me.
