ProPiganda: Drawing the Line Against Jihad (Print Companion to The Infidel)

ProPiganda is the print companion to THE INFIDEL graphic novel, as well as the first appearance of Pigman in print. Preview and ordering information are below. Thank you for your interest in my work.

If you want to see the enemy get it, get this book

The book is square-bound, 9 x 11, 128 pages, 75 of them color, the rest black & white for $15. The book is filled with poster-type images of the main characters, mainly of Pigman, as well as a number of  essays I've written on all things Islam and Jihad. This blog was meant to be a way to get myself out there while working on THE INFIDEL, so these images are now exclusive to this collection, though a few of them may end up as individual covers of The Infidel series.

I am thrilled to see Pigman in print.
Sincere congratulations Bosch. Kudos.

Bosch Fawstin said...

Thanks, everyone, it's really something else to see Pigman in print.

Ordered mine. I already have table for one, so expectations are high.

Godfrey of Utah said...

So freakin excited! Will order when I can! Congrats Bosch!

Going to miss you on the blogs, though. Trying to overlook the "women have the right to be free so long as they realize their lives belong to Jesus/God" perspective all the time wears a bit thin. It's always so good to hear from consistently rational people.

Fellow Infidel said...

Ordered today!! Can't wait. Now go make The Infidel a -killer- novel!

We're behind you all the way!

Bosch,

Looks pretty good.

Thanks again, everyone, we're going to have a Lot to give and take on beginning this summer. In the meantime, would love to hear what those who are getting ProPiganda think of it.

Just bought mine Bosch. Can't wait.

Bosch Fawstin said...

Thanks, butterfly, looking forward to your thoughts on it.

Kelly Bailey said...

Just got mine today. Thanks for the signed little Pig Man portrait Bosch. The book is Amazing!

I bough it through your site, but put up a "short but sweet" review on Amazon.

My Amazon review:

"Great Book! It's very poignant in every sense of the word. I found my self feeling the full gamut of emotions as I was paging through it and remembering why it's so important to never forget 9/11. Can't wait for "The Infidel" to come out."

Fellow Infidel said...

Got mine today too! Extremely awesome. I wasn't expecting the essays in addition to the artwork. I love it. Thanks Bosch.

My favorite in print is page 34, The Jihad's Up.

Bosch Fawstin said...

Thanks, Kelly, for the good words and review, much appreciated and I'm really glad you like the book.

FI, thanks again, glad you're pleased with it, and that image, 'The Jihad's Up', is one I'm really happy with. Good that you saw the essays as somewhat of an unexpected extra, and if you notice, they're far better than they were originally.

revereridesagain said...

Bosch, it looks just great! It took me a moment to realize who all those people were in the photomontage on the inside covers. It's hard to choose, but page 19 is a favorite for the power of its imagery and message. And the essays drive that message home in words the meaning of which cannot be evaded. Thank you.

Bosch Fawstin said...

Thank *you*, RRA, appreciate the kind words. About the inside front and back covers, the victims have yet to be avenged and our current resident in the white house is looking to make nice with those who had a good day on 9/11. Not only aren't the bad guys getting it in real life, but they aren't even getting what's coming to them in fiction, at least in any way that they ought to. There's an unnatural vacuum in pop culture that's going to have to be filled, and it looks like Pigman will have to be big enough to fill it up all by himself. For now.

Frank Castle said...

Nice to see you have something in print again. Hope we get to see Infidel soon.

Bosch Fawstin said...

Thanks, Frank, and to everyone, Check this out

Keep up the great work Bosch. I'm going to make a slide show of your work, plug the site and post it on youtube , which will probably end up with me being banned (AGAIN) but I'll also post it on
www.nmatv.com it's a great site for like minded people. You are doing great things. Take care.

Bosch Fawstin said...

Thanks, Jeff, give me a heads up when you ready it for youtube, someone else interested in my work proposed the same thing. I wouldn't know where to begin on setting that up and I'm curious how it'd work.

Thanks, George.

And to all: I went to a talk by Geert Wilders yesterday and I then I met Robert Spencer in person. I even got a chance to get ProPiganda in their hands. A good day.

Damien said...

Bosch Fawstin,

Wow!

Mike Thompson said...

VERY, VERY COOL, Bosch! Must've been a thrill to meet them. Congrats, my friend.

USS Ben USN (Ret) said...

"And to all: I went to a talk by Geert Wilders yesterday and I then I met Robert Spencer in person."

Cool! Are you gonna blog about it Bosch?
Those are two great guys I would like to meet someday.
They have done, and continue to do tireless work in the fight against Islamofascism.

Bosch Fawstin said...

It really was something else, to not only see Wilders tell a truth that needs to be told, but to then unexpectedly see Robert Spencer there.
And USS Ben & others who are interested, I just put up a short piece on Wilder at Big Hollywood, accompanied by my "I'm Geert Wilders!" image. It's currently pending approval, so I'll give a heads up if it goes up.

USS Ben USN (Ret) said...

Thanks, Bosch!
I look forward to it! Thanks for your hard work!

Bosch Fawstin said...

The Geert Wilder's piece is now up at Big Hollywood.

Damien said...

Bosch,

I just commented on it.

Hey Bosch, can't find you anymore on Facebook. Was your account suspended?

Bosch Fawstin said...

I created a Facebook page for Pigman and I used my regular email address and for whatever reason, ande without warning, my main account no longer exists. I'm going to wait it out for a few days and see what happens.

Bosch Fawstin said...

To any friends of mine on Facebook, or anyone who wants to be, you can search for Bosch Fawstin on Facebook and request me as a friend. Before my account deletion, I had around 170 friends and while I don't expect to remember everyone on that list, I hope to get reconnected with most.

My interview at Front Page Magazine, 'From Mohammed to Ayn Rand'

Damien said...

Bosch,

That was a well done interview.

USS Ben USN (Ret) said...

Thanks Bosch! That was a great interview!
Full of truthful goodness.

However, according to DHS I'm a potential terrorist now because I'm a veteran, and a radical right-wing extremist (and terrorists are now called human-mediated disaster facilitators, go figure).

Yeah, folks like me are the "real" threat. DHS sure doesn't let evidence get in their way. And when Obama pretends he doesn't know what was in that so-called report the DHS obviously worked so hard to create, it's like he's sayin' he didn't bow to the Muslim king of Saudi Arabia.

Oh wait...

Bosch Fawstin said...

Thanks, USS Ben, and it's really incredible that B.O.'s administration would refer to terrorism as 'man-made disasters' and to the war we're in as 'overseas contingency operation', but then refer to a non-existent threat with Far more absolute terms in their targeting 'Right Wing Extremists'. It just proves again that politics is the end all be all for them, and that those who are in their way politically are their real threat. Disgraceful, but to be expected by a disgrace of a president like BO.

Pat Fontana said...

Very cool art and telling painful truth(s)All i can say is wow! But please be careful Mr. Fawstin the crazy's you are exposing will kill you if they find you.

Got my copy off Amazon.com.

I have to say that PROPIGANDA contains the best promotional art I've ever seen.

Ignoring the serious context of Pigman for a moment, I have to say that these images are absolutely BADASS. My personal favorite is "The Western Goes Eastern" and the Frank Miller-esque "Black and White" picture. Never before have I been so excited about an upcoming graphic novel.

Putting said images back into context however just makes everything even better. Too many people are ignoring the big white elephant (or actively assissting said big white elephant).

I totally share your view Bush's reaction to 9/11 as weak (war on "Terror"; a wussy, try-not-to-tread-on-anyone's-toes move if ever I saw one).
That said, as I myself am a Christian, I don't think his actual religion is weak (as you implied in one of the essays)...but that's another discussion altogether.

In closing, it looks like Pigman will be the most patriotic superhero of all time...far more than the likes published by the mainstream publishers.

Mister Myst said...

I WOULD have bought my copy from you directly, but I didn't realize I could.

I hadn't been to your blog in a while and just decided to type your name into Amazon.com this past week, which led to my purchase.

Ah well.
Signed or not, this book kicks ass.

This book is basically the same as those patriotic WW2 War Effort Posters only applied to today's world.

Bosch Fawstin said...

Fellow Infidel, they even referred to me on The Religion of Peace.com as Fellow Infidel, ha.

Mister Myst, thanks for the great words, glad you enjoyed it. About the original index card sketches, The Infidel #1 will be made available to order from my site this summer, so I'll likely do the same for the initial orders.

DMartyr said...

How about adding an extra bonus: A CD containing your original digital artwork?

That would be great!

Bosch Fawstin said...

All of my work is hand drawn, and then finished through photo shop, so it's not digital, technically speaking. I use pencil, then ink and then either water color the image or color it in photoshop. I think print is my main focus right now, but for a real different look at my work, here's a video preview of it a friend of mine put together.

DMartyr said...

I meant the images you have online, as originally scanned. They make fabulous computer wallpaper. But I guess I can save them. :)

The video is awesome!

DMartyr said...

I got my book today! It is AWESOME! Keep up the great work!

Bosch Fawstin said...

Thanks, D, will do, and be on the lookout for the first look at the book this week.

Bosch Fawstin said...

Means a lot, my friend, and I truly cannot wait to get it out into the world, finally.

Mike Thompson said...

Savvy marketing, my friend, making your Pigman images exclusive to the book. Brilliant.

Bosch Fawstin said...

Mike, thanks, making the images exclusive to the book is a good way of getting those who are interested in getting it.
