Crier of the House

What's John Boehner most known for? Crying. Instead of doing his job as Speaker of the House to be THE voice of opposition to Obama and his gang, he keeps caving on important fights, and is now in competition with Glenn Beck to see who can cry more times in public.

I couldn't agree more strongly. The crying to me is less of a problem though, than his utter impotence as a leader. He's useless. Until this latest showdown over this payroll tax cut, he's been a pathetic excuse for a majority leader. I'm not even sure this was his idea. Mitch McConnell earns my contempt in this regard as well. Far too timid. The Democrats know how to fight a political war. The Republican leadership bends over and grabs their ankles in the face of the onslaught. It's sickening to watch.

Ditto, his impotence is the point here, with his public crying just one manifestation of it. This is Not what the 2010 elections were meant to turn into, it's sick.
