Who's next after Anwar al-Awlaki? This pos was the "spiritual adviser" to a couple of the 9/11 hijackers, and he was linked to the Fort Hood jihad murders, the Christmas underwear jihad bombing attempt on an airplane over Detroit, and the Times Square jihad mass murder attempt. 

And we also happened to put down another pos in the hit on al-Awlaki, one Samir Khan, who among other things, was an "editor of al Qaeda's English-language magazine, "Inspire".

The Saudis & 9/11

I'm reposting my May 08' cartoon, a parody of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in light of the new revelations about the Saudi involvement in 9/11. Here are two stories on that, one from the Miami Herald and one from Investors Business Daily. I'm reading a book right now titled The Eleventh Day that promises to make the case that the two greatest state sponsors of terrorism on earth, Saudi Arabia and Iran, were involved with the greatest terrorist attack in history. And for those who miss Bush, from the Investors Business Daily piece:

"Why was the section of Congress' Joint Inquiry into 9/11 dealing with "sources of foreign support for some of the Sept. 11 hijackers" kept secret from the public on the orders of President Bush?

Almost 27 full pages were blanked out — an amount equal to the entire U.S. Constitution. The section, which remains sealed, reportedly quotes from a CIA memo that concludes there's "incontrovertible evidence" that Saudi government officials supported the hijackers. Why the cover-up?"

So not only did Bush bail out Islam with "Islam means peace", but it looks like he may have bailed out the Saudis as well. Why?

If Frank Warner/Pigman has a real life model, it's FBI agent John O'Neill, at least in his professional life. He was the one constant, heroic figure in the books I read that dealt with the events leading up to the atrocity of 9/11, two in particular, The Cell and The Man Who Warned America. He was also featured as the main lead in the TV film, The Path To 9/11. O'Neill warned everyone he could about Bin Laden years before anyone knew about him. And incredibly, he retired from the FBI in August of 2001 and then took a position as Director of Security at the Twin Towers weeks before the attacks. He was doing his job on 9/11 and didn't make it out of one of the towers alive. If I still had a passion for Star Wars, I'd be up in arms about the new, absolutely unnecessary and questionable changes that Lucas is adding/subtracting to/from his Star Wars films in the Blu(it) Ray editions. To those who bring it up, of Course he has every Right to do whatever the hell he wants with his films..... like drive them off the cliff. Han not shooting first in Star Wars, Luke screaming after he makes his fateful decision in Empire, Vader saying "Nooooooo" again, now in Returns....I loved them as a kid, but after 3 time-killing prequels, Lucas has found a way to poison the old ones with all of this minutiae as well. Tusken Raiders of the Lost Soul - could be a title for a Lucas biopic.

TOWERING OVER islam

I was asked to contribute a piece of mine for the organization "Twin Towers Go Global", who write:

"On the eve of the 10th anniversary of 9/11, Twin Towers Go Global is issuing an international open call for responses to the question “Where would you choose to rebuild the Twin Towers? Why?”

My older piece, Towering Over islam, I think is just right for this. So it's now part of their gallery and I hope it makes a good mark among the finalists.

On the Ground Zero mosque, (euphemized as a "community center"), Bloomberg says -  The community center can and must be built at the Park51 site....Anything less would "compromise our commitment to fighting terror with freedom." Get off your knees, Mr. Mayor, you're the elected leader of the greatest city in the History of the World.....or truly submit yourself as a slave to Allah and go to Mecca, i.e. Hell.
