Hawaiian lawmakers created "Islam Day" in 2009. (Just saw the story posted today, assumed it was just passed) I'd be fine with it if it fell on Sept. 11, because despite what our gutless leaders desperately want to believe, Islam means 9/11.

To the idiots who like this type of thing, tell me if 'The Muslim World" will return the favor and celebrate "America Day" or Israel Day", that is when they're not screaming their heads off with "DEATH TO AMERICA!"

Since Marvel & DC Comics are trying to out-gay each other these days in this new Rainbow Age of Comics, I'm pitching Gayman to them. Though they might consider it too controversial, as not Only is Gayman's look based on our "First Gay President", but the character is a Capitalist who openly fights for Truth, Justice & The American Way. Oh, and he supports Israel and fights jihad as well. Wish me luck...

What I wrote then: I share Mark Steyn’s thoughts on Molly Norris, The Seattle Times cartoonist who started “Everybody Draw Mohammad Day”, and then abandoned it at the first sign of trouble. She understood for a brief moment that we must draw the line against this enemy, but now, as one of her former colleagues puts it, “there is no more Molly.”

THE INFIDEL 2: From Pencils to Inks to Colors

I'm in the final stage before releasing THE INFIDEL chapter two and I wanted to show you one panel in three stages. After I'm done writing/rewriting, I visualize the entire story in pencil on bristol board paper. After that, I hand write all of the lettering onto the board (I will move to digital lettering soon), then I ink all of the pages - I ink Killian's pages in pen and markers and Pigman's pages in brush with india ink. Then I scan all of the inked pages and color the book digitally through photoshop.

The below drawing is of Salaam Duka, Born-Again Muslim. He just heard something he doesn't want to hear from one of his girlfriends.

For new readers of my blog, here's a short description of my story: THE INFIDEL is about twin brothers Killian Duke and Salaam Duka whose Muslim background comes to the forefront of their lives on 9/11. Killian responds to the atrocity by creating a counter-jihad superhero comic book called PIGMAN, as Salaam fully surrenders to Islam. Pigman's battle against his archenemy SuperJihad is echoed by the escalating conflict between the twins.
