THE INFIDEL #1 & 2

Front Page Magazine reviews THE INFIDEL #1 and 2 here
For new visitors to my blog, THE INFIDEL is my graphic novel which I'm digitally serializing chapter by chapter. I've released two chapters so far. Here's a breakdown of the story:
THE INFIDEL is about twin brothers Killian Duke and Salaam Duka whose Muslim background comes to the forefront of their lives on 9/11. Killian responds to the atrocity by creating a counter-jihad superhero comic book called PIGMAN, as Salaam fully surrenders to Islam. Pigman's battle against his archenemy SuperJihad is echoed by the escalating conflict between the twins.

What They'e Saying About THE INFIDEL #2
You can order your instant download of THE INFIDEL #2, featuring PIGMAN, here.
“All too accurate, all too real, this novel takes you into the mind and heart of a dedicated warrior for freedom as he stands tall against true believers in jihad who are willing to kill for their belief, supine and willfully blind dhimmis and Useful Idiots, and other features of the contemporary landscape. Strikingly original, deeply insightful, and powerfully moving, THE INFIDEL #2 is the story of our sad and foolish age. Don't miss it.”
“…the
second issue of [Fawstin’s] series on the confrontation between Islam and the
West that blends our day-to-day reality in the Clash of Civilizations and a
superhero named Pigman … In an environment where censorship and self-censorship
are common, [The[ Infidel is
the rarest of things, it is a graphic novel which goes directly to the heart of
the issue. Comics routinely pander to Islam. Infidel #2 stands up to it
in the most direct way possible.”
And from readers:
“Best
$3 I spent all year!”
“Best
*comic* I read all year!”
“GREAT!
I love it!”
“LOVED
IT!!!! Now to go into rabid fits for #3. :)”
“… goes where DC and Marvel fear to tread...”
“Wow... great job Mr Fawstin... I admire your talent and your commitment
to the truth. Keep up the fantastic work!”
“This sequel was an emotional rollercoaster for me. I laughed one moment
and was shocked the next. The Infidel is not simplistic stop-the-jihadis
wish fulfillment. It doesn't just make me feel; it makes me think. Few
comics do that. I've got high hopes for #3!”
“Great work. Love the debate - you don't often hear it articulated so
well.”
“Great issue! At the end I was like WHAT THE F***!?! THAT DID NOT JUST
HAPPEN! Can't wait for the next one.”
“The Infidel series is more than just a comic book. Sure, it has larger
than life heroes taking on evil villains. But it also incorporates the Truth
about Islam into its pages.”
“The Infidel #2 goes even further exposing and attacking the enemy,
domestic and foreign, in ways unseen in any creation in any media … Pigman acts
in a way all moral people should want the US to act … the drawings are great
and the dialogues are superb, witty and funny.”
“I have never been a fan of comics before. I am now.”
“Loved it! The pacing, the artwork, and the dialogue propelled the story
forwards.”
“Thank you for extrapolating, with GREAT style and storytelling, what
Graphic Novels and Heroes would be like if they were created by the very best
traits American Comics had when we took on Our Enemies, long ago.”
"Thank you for saying it like it really is and making your characters do the same. And what an end!!! :) "
"...the best Objectivist comics creator since Steve Ditko. And this latest installment in the Infidel saga is his best work yet. I give it my highest recommendation. Five Pigs."
"Bosch Fawstin's brand new episode of THE INFIDEL featuring PIGMAN is bigger, bolder, and more philosophically powerful than Episode 1. Solid, courageous, relevant, inspiring stuff. While many comic books carefully retread friendly old ground, this one boldly invades enemy intellectual territory and takes no prisoners. This is not your parent's comic book, nor your child's. It's for modern, thinking adults. Spread the word. Pigman, Killian Duke, and Bosch Fawstin are on a serious roll, and I want to see more of it."

THE INFIDEL #2 Now Available
Earlier today, I received word that the ePUB generator/distributor I had selected to try and distribute my book through conventional channels, had rejected The Infidel #1 as violating their "terms of service." As you'll see, if they rejected #1, they would certainly reject #2, and so I've decided to go ahead and make it available myself, through pdf download, as I did with #1. This means you can be reading it in mere minutes. Even though ePUB offers the advantage of panel isolation, note that you will still be able to read this pdf on many of the popular ebook readers. I viewed it myself on my iPad through iBooks and it looks great. This issue is 22 story pages, in full color, and you can order an instant download for $3.00 below. To see what they're saying about it, click here.

B-DAY
Obama Blows Off D-Day Again. I don't think he'll blow off B-Day. Here's a piece I did in Sept. 2010, based on an idea by David Horowitz, before the mid-term elections hit Obama. I think it still fits for this coming November. Here's what I wrote then:
Barack Obama is underestimating the opposition he faces, going full steam ahead into November like the Titanic. I think this is because he doesn’t realize he’s challenging the entire American way of life, which is based upon the rights to life, liberty, property and the pursuit of happiness.
