US Comics In Wartime, Then & Now

Damn, I love comics since I was a kid (and always will) but, lately they have become pure shit, not only their drawings, but the plot.

Now, this, islam in the comics.

Our policies are shaping our culture. We actually fought a war back then. This generations Pearl Harbor was met with appeasement, whilst the real Pearl Harbor was met with atomic bombs, spawning the "Greatest Generation".

Tom Brokaw wrote in his 1998 book The Greatest Generation, "it is, I believe, the greatest generation any society has ever produced." He argued that these men and women fought not for fame and recognition, but because it was the "right thing to do."
